- Make pastoral visits and calls to congregants in their homes, hospitals, and care facilities.
- Oversee and engage in grief support for families.
- Staff liaison offering support and ensuring communication with our Stephen Ministry team.
- Provide guidance and leadership to our 60+ ministry teams.
- Work collaboratively with key staff members to ensure continuity of care for life celebrations (memorial services and weddings) and Pastoral Care related classes and events.
- Manage care giving requests.
- Work in collaboration with Sunday prayer teams to offer congregants and friends prayer support.
- Occasional preaching
- Faithful follower of Jesus
- Ordained minister preferred
- Masters of Divinity or equivalent preferred; D Min., CPE or APC certification a plus.
- Minimum of five years related experience in a church, hospital or other ministry setting
- Must have a clean, current DMV record
- DOJ background clearance required
- Must adhere to and model PCC’s Safe Church policies
- Hours can range from 18-24, with flexibility required.
- This position will be expected to participate in Sunday Worship.
