PRINCIPAL OBJECTIVE
- Collaborate with the Spiritual Formation Pastor to design and implement discipleship pathways that guide spiritual growth for individuals and families
- Manage the coordination and growth of discipleship environments, small groups, formation gatherings, and related initiatives
- Provide logistical and relational support to volunteers engaged in formation ministry
- Ensure consistent engagement through managed systems, including tracking new visitors, guest follow-up, attendance, and group participation
- Engage in ministry opportunities as needed, including hosting, facilitating, or assisting with events or programs that cultivate spiritual growth within the PCC community
- Assist in areas of assimilation and provide support to the weekend experience
- Administer the Community Care program
- Administrative support for the Spiritual Formation Pastor, including office assistance, budget development assistance and compliance, meeting and event preparation, communication needs, calendar coordination, etc.
- Manage internal and external communications ensuring alignment with church messaging and standards by providing strategic guidance for ministry staff as well as hands-on development, and execution:
- Ensure communication materials are accessible, engaging, and effectively distributed through appropriate channels (email, print, digital platforms, etc.)
- Develop and maintain a library of communication templates, forms, and procedures to ensure consistency and clarity across regular and special communications
- Provide content for website and social media platforms
- Provide reception and office support in the following areas:
- Ensure a welcoming and caring environment for volunteers and guests
- Phones, mail, deliveries, and office equipment support
- Organize meeting space, offices, and storage, and ensure supplies are available
- Ongoing database management
- Provide support for the coordination of memorials, baptisms and other special events
- Provide coverage for Senior Pastor’s Admin in her absence
- Other duties as they pertain to and aide in supporting the ministry's principal objective
- A deep, personal relationship with Jesus and a commitment to living a biblically faithful life
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to work as a member of a team, communicate openly, and assist others
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Skilled at adaptability, problem-solving, prioritizing, and time management
- Must act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Proficient with Mac, PC, Google Calendar/Docs/Sheets, MS Office, and familiar with database software.
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum of 3 years related experience in a church or other ministry setting preferred
- Must be able to work in a shared office space and maneuver throughout the 14-acre campus to and in various buildings.
- Current and clean CA DMV record and required auto insurance
- Must adhere to PCC’s Safe Church policies, including mandatory background check
- This job is Full-time with an average of 40 hours per week.
- This position is generally Monday through Friday but requires some Sunday and special event coverage.
